Summary
The is responsible for the financial compliance and governance required by the Business Sector. The is responsible for performing all general accounting duties including general ledger account maintenance and reconciliation within the region. In addition, the is responsible for managing assigned resources to ensure that processes for accounts payable, customer invoicing, and payroll are properly and efficiently executed within the region. The ensures that proper controls are in place by developing and executing a robust set of internal control procedures related to all aspects of financial and accounting reporting. The works closely with the Regional Controller to coordinate and ensure an accurate monthly closing process for the region. This position is also responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting the region’s KPI performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. In addition to these duties, the is included in special projects as defined / directed by the Regional Controller. This position is open to relocation if applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Responsible for his/her own health, security and safety and shall cooperate and contribute to the creation of a safe, secure and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the Company’s environmental obligations and goals
-Compiles and publishes daily/weekly/monthly performance reports as directed by the Regional Controller
-Coordinate the month end close process in the Western Region
-Maintains general ledger accuracy for all Western Region GL’s including ensuring the monthly account reconciliations are complete
-Manages assigned resources to ensure that the region’s accounts payable, invoicing, and payroll processes are executed properly
-Ensures regional compliance with accounting policies, principles and procedures at all sites
