Senior Credit and Collection Specialist
About the Job
The primary role of the Sr. Credit & Collection Specialist is to monitor and resolve outstanding Accounts Receivables through the use of effective collection techniques. The Sr. Credit & Collections Specialist will interface with internal and external clients and levels of management therefore, effective interpersonal and communication skills are critical. Ability to work independently, display effective analytical and research skills and use a high degree of initiative and creativity to continuously review and improve processes to assure that collection efforts are strategic in nature all in an effort to reduce DSOs.
Additional responsibilities will include:
•Prepare and analyze weekly / monthly A/R aging reports and reconcile AR module to GL
•Post Sales and CR journals to the G/L in Quickbooks
•Perform active collections by continuously monitoring client account balances, writing collection letters statements; contacting clients by phone and email
•Investigate delinquent accounts, Interface with Billing Coordinator Sales Representatives, Controller, Business Owners, and/or other support departments as needed to bring prompt resolution to non-payment issues
•Prepare and Maintain weekly AR Aging reports for management on credit/collections status and/or client intent to pay
•Perform client credit checks and prepare and analyze monthly client watch report
•Post Cash Receipts and reconcile AR module to bank account on a weekly / monthly basis.
•Prepare monthly cash forecast report
•Review Account Receivable balances on a routine basis and resolve issues with unapplied receipts or unapplied credit memos.
•Prepare refund requests and post to AR module
•Review credit memo requests to assure compliance and follow through to signature
•Post Credit Memos to AR module on a weekly / monthly basis
•Other Adhoc reporting or tasks may be assigned as needed
Requirements
Who we're looking for
Bachelors or associates in Accounting or Business discipline or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 plus years of experience in Credit & Collections or Accounts Receivable
• Furniture industry experience a plus
• Minimum1 year experience in a leadership role, but not a managerial role.
Business to business collections experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good relationships
• Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe and Quickbooks

Job Summary:
This position serve as evidence generation expert to define the protocols, synopses & syntheses of comparative effectiveness and health outcomes studies to support R&D product development from early to late phases. The position will serve as methodological expert as well as effective communicator in evidence generation functions thru evidence-based synthesis and definition of comparative or relative effectiveness research, participation in internal and external forums on CER methodology, development and implementation of patient reported outcomes studies, conducting literature review and economic modeling, prodviding support for RCT design, by sustained engagement and coordination with matrix partners and affiliate countries in development and implementation of health outcomes research studies.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and establishing a global strategic framework for comparative effectiveness and health outcomes programs including real world retrospective and prospective research programs, economic modeling, and patient reported outcomes assessments.
Collaborate with all stakeholders, internal and external experts to systematically develop, validate, interpret, and communicate value evidence for R&D portfolio
Guide, develop and implement scientific programs or research agenda relevant to real world evidence generation for comparative effectiveness and health outcomes
Be responsible for integrated evidence generation reports for selected therapeutics areas across evidence generation functional teams
Effectively coordinate and priortize projects across matrix function teams including evidence-based medicine, clinical trials, quantitative sciences, real world data analytics and evidence translations.
Assessing the integrated evidence for gaps and opportunities for development of evidence for the value proposition of a product
Prioritize and implement tactical planning for comparative evidence generation and outcomes evaluation in supporting key management decision making and business and medical strategies
Assist in communicating the systematic approach to CER and in scientific publications and presentations related to comparative effectiveness
Support the team leader to develop and establish a global strategic framework for comparative effectiveness and health outcomes programs including real world retrospective research programs by helping in activities such as SOP development and process innovation.
Articulate scientific hypotheses, integrate the data to support hypothesis testing for product priorities and present the big picture from the quantitative evidence coming from different sources
Major Challenges & Problems:
The incumbent of this position will collaborate with evidence generation and translation teams to identify efficient and effective data capabilities and partnership to advance the team deliverables and achieve innovative team objectives
