Hajoca is seeking individuals for a very unique position: the Western , reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, serves as leader of a strong and highly successful team of credit managers throughout the western states.


 

Responsibilities:

•         Responsible for policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines, and collections

•         Implements policies on a daily basis while maintaining accuracy of financial reports

•         Leads the overall credit function of our company in the western portion of the United States while managing a team of 11 District Credit offices

•         Reports Company progress to Senior Management and the Board of Directors

•         Structures transactions with the use of creative thinking from the standpoint of “how can we do this deal” while balancing the risks and rewards rather than concluding immediately that the deal cannot be done

 Requirements

Requirements:

•         Bachelor’s Degree Required; Business or Business-related Discipline preferred

•         A minimum of 15 years’ experience in full service Credit Management

•         Capability and willingness to travel extensively

•         Knowledge of NACM educational programs; Certified Credit Executive highly preferred

•         Must have a history of working closely and effectively with attorneys, collection agencies, and other third party credit service providers

•         Demonstrated leadership qualities

•         Experience in personal interaction with customers and operations/sales personnel

•         Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to address and manage large groups

•         Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and plan meetings effectively and efficiently

•         Ability to read and understand Dun & Bradstreet and other credit agency reports

•         Expertise at financial statement analysis with the ability to analyze detailed financial data and  translate results into customer credit line decisions

•         Ability to manage a diverse group of personalities and keep them focused on common goals

•         Strong communication skills including the ability to sort large quantities of data and write clear and concise reports for use by upper management. Ability to articulate company policies and programs effectively across a broad audience spectrum

•         Significant and successful hiring and professional development experience

•         Proven track record of formulating and implementing organizational plans

•         Ability to stay calm and rational during periods of crisis and challenge

•         Ability to represent both the credit department specifically and Hajoca in general in a highly professional manner in conjunction with all interactions involving a wide array of outside parties including customers, vendors, and all Hajoca personnel and upper management.
