POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to fill a Financial Institutions Practice
Area Senior Analyst position. This professional will support the
Financial Institution Practice Team, Retail Banking topic, through managing and processing research
requests, assisting consultants with industry specific problems, working closely with case teams and
providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues.
The Financial Institutions Practice Area Senior Analyst will interact with both local and international
teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter,
synthesize, package and deliver information to case teams and clients. This professional will participate
in and manage Financial Institutions Practice Area topics and projects under the guidance of senior
Financial Institutions Practice Area members from consulting team and senior staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team with case teams for client work, Sometimes as full case team member (typically at partial capacity); joins client meetings as credible expert; takes positions and draws conclusions on a range of external and
internal issues, Takes initiative to ensure proposal or client teams put their best foot forward; connects
people and suggest most appropriate products, tools, and analytics, works with the FI Retail Banking network and senior staff to build intellectual property for the retail banking business (databases, data models, etc.) Draws conclusions and synthesizes results across multiple work streams, and
communicates these effectively. Assists others in navigating the knowledge network by connecting them with materials and people. Provides guidance to other staff and consulting staff on complex research requests and topic-related issues; puts requests into context, provides richness of expertise. Supports development of the FI practice. Identifies and fills gaps in commercially-relevant topic knowledge, Establishes and promotes an internal topic network, Tracks and shares trends (client needs/practices, competitor activities, academics and practitioner best practice) as needed to maintain and refresh commercially-relevant topic expertise. Helps manage agenda for topics at financial institutions practice events. Presents at FI practice meetings and other internal events. Helps build capacity by coaching and training more junior staff and junior consulting staff on practices, analytic techniques and topic knowledge. Participates in the recruiting/hiring process for team members (e.g., interviewing) as
needed. Promotes innovation by recognizing new concepts and facilitating their capture.

This candidate will work very closely with the mortgage default business, management, compensation, and other data analysts to ensure the appropriate reports are developed and deployed as needed. In addition, this candidate will play a key role in helping to manage strategic initiatives and identify process efficiencies as it relates to data.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, write and maintain data requests and/or queries to support the business.Interface with LOB and MIS resources to ensure that reports are accurate and deployed in a timely manner.
Design, develop, and document reporting requirements as defined by the business.
Create and maintain consistency in reporting across the organization where possible.
Work closely with the MIS team to investigate issues and resolve any reporting discrepancies.
Analyze a wide range of reports and presentations used across the organization for accuracy and consistency.
Identify data process improvements and leverage technology to automate and streamline existing processes.
Assist in the development of ad-hoc reports or presentations as needed by senior management.
Develop trending and forecasting models to track and validate various key performance measurements by specific business segment.
