Are you certified or are you interested in becoming a certified auditor under BRC Packaging or PAS 223?

Detailed Description:
Conduct assigned Food Safety & Quality audits.Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings.Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client site management or appropriate client personnel.Conduct special supplier visits to investigate product failures and verify the implementation of corrective actions.Develop effective work plans for the completion of audits within a determined timeframe.Establish and maintain effective communication with headquarter based project managers as it relates to assigned clients.

Job Requirements:
Experience working in a packaging materials manufacturing environment in a technical, professional, or supervisory role.Verifiable auditing experience in BRC PackagingCompleted the IOP/BRC Global Standard EQIPT courseVerifiable auditing experience in FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000.Verifiable completion of a Lead Assesor training course based on ISO 19011 principlesVerifiable food hygiene/safety trainingTraining in HACCP principlesBachelors degree in a field related to food science or packagingAbility to travel extensively domestically or internationallyMust have a valid passport and drivers license.

Additional Details:
Required frequent travel by car or plane up to 70% of the timeRequired to stand, or walk for long periods of time.Required to have a valid drivers license and operate a motor vehicle.Extensive use of computers and other electronic equipment.Moderate physical effort required (ability to carry equipment weighing 25 lbs or less).Ability to follow client and regulatory required safety practices.
