Prestigious, long-standing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant with three or more years of progressive accounting experience to join their Finance team. As an integral member of the department, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling specific balance sheet accounts to verifiable data sources in order to ensure integrity, generating accurate monthly financial statements, providing external auditors with necessary internal information, and assisting the General Accounting Director with special projects as needed. An Accounting degree is required. The ideal Senior Accountant will be capable of working independently and in a team environment, demonstrate sound judgment with confidential matters, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
