The will have the following responsibilities:

Review, analyze and approve all international customer orders and initiate processing into production system (SAP software) Communicate with all international customers on order disposition, completion status, and changes that occur continuously throughout the order process.  Communicate extensively with Sales, International Customer Credit Services, Production, and Service Departments to expedite orders and resolve discrepancies Price orders according to Company pricing policies, including special discounts, extra charges, and special prices that may need to be made by manual adjustment Release customer orders based on parameters set by International Customer Credit Services, and recommend review of credit terms.  Prepare complex export collection documentation and international invoicing in accordance with the intricacies of foreign trade requirements.  Review letters of credit to confirm acceptability and meet all critical expiration deadlines.  Resolve documentation disputes with banks, forwarders, government agencies and customers, to ensure that timely collection of shipments are made Prepare export customs and shipping documents for presentation to forwarders Arrange for complex international shipments with ocean and airfreight carriers and consolidators Coordinate with Shipping Department to assure material is ready for loading of containers.  Coordinate export packing and staging of inspections with Shipping Department Other duties as assigned  Requirements

 

College degree and/or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, International Order, Traffic, and Credit collection systems Ability to fluently communicate in Spanish Ability to perform extremely detailed work with a high degree of accuracy in a high-volume environment Demonstrated ability to make good decisions and work comfortably within a frequently changing environment Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills An uncompromising attitude toward quality and customer service Able to perform effectively as a team player Demonstrated initiative and ability to accept responsibilities with minimal supervision Proficiency in the use of Windows 98, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software as needed
