Purpose:
The position is part of the AICPA's Finance team. The is the professional responsible for overseeing compliance with the Contracts policy, serving as the Finance liaison to all business units, ensuring financial terms are acceptable and fall in line with budgets and effectively collaborating with the Human Resource, Legal and Procurement teams to ensure proper execution of contracts. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of the contract database including the analysis of vendors to achieve efficiencies across the organization.

Contract Management (50%) Manage and maintain the contract policy and controlsRetain internal feedback regarding needed changes and incorporate as neededWork closely with the Legal team to ensure policy is completePolicies and control matrices are updated at least annuallyMonitor and enhance and the contract review and approval processEnsure process is clearly defined and communicated to the organizationContinuously look for ways to streamline the process to ensure reviews are done timely and thoroughlyTrack status of contracts throughout the review processManage and maintain the contract database (including reporting)Ensure all contracts and relevant contract information are logged in the database timely and accuratelyUpdate/revise fields as deemed necessaryDevelop reporting for management and senior managementCollaboration/Building Relationships (30%) Serve as Finance Liaison to business unitsBuild collaborative relationships within the organizationProvide guidance to business units as neededValidate GL account coding, budget and accounting treatmentCollaborate with Procurement and other teams within Finance, Legal and Human ResourcesVerify contracts have been reviewed and approved by legal and assist legal with making edits to contractsEnsure suppliers are assessed and set up properly in the systemConfirm that Purchase Orders are set to the terms outlined in contractsFinancial Analysis and Ad hoc Projects (20%) Gather financial data in connection with active contractsAnalyze trends and provide data for internal and external auditsProvide support on other projects as neededExpected Metrics: Timely updates to the contract policyDevelopment of new contract database reportingCollaborative internal relationship buildingReduced number of non-complianceImproved procurement processes upon execution of contracts
