The Manager of the Project Management Office establishes develops, and implements standards and best practices of the Project Management Office (PMO) as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the PMO department. This includes defining and documenting all policies and processes of project lifecycles in order to deliver projects according to plan and within budget. The PMO Manager will also create formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and allocating resources.

This position will define how major IT related projects are managed within both the Health Quest and External Client environments. It will ensure that projects are managed in a professional manner utilizing standardized tools based on the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

This position will influence how project managers perform the classic Initiation, Planning, Executing and Closing processes required to effectively manage mid to large scale projects. 

Job Requirements 

BA/BS or equivalent experience, 6 plus years of progressive work related experience, and PMI project management certification. Resource Management, Project Management and Portfolio Management experience.
