Ability to work in close coordination with the client, Operations Manager, Program Managers, Project Managers and Associate Project Managers to effectively support a high volume of projects in various stages of the project lifecycle as part of multiple multi-site programs. Ability to identify and escalate project risks associated with scope, schedule, budget and project close deliverables Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS and/or client technology as required for assigned projects, including managing financial data and maintaining project record documentation Ensure timely and accurate management of all account receivables  from purchase order issuance to maintaining I2C revenue forecasting for a high volume of sites Work with the Operations Manager and Program Managers to create and maintain project status and financial dashboard reporting for a high volume of projects Assist with quarterly / annual KPI reporting Process PM approved purchase orders timely within the Client’s financial system SAP/Marketplace Assist with the collection of invoices, parked invoice resolution and perform Goods Receipts (GRs) within SAP/Marketplace Assist with all other program or project related tasks as identified by the RPO Manager Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.


Job Requirements

Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution and Project Management experience preferred Practical experience as part of a Quick Retail project/construction management team preferred Understanding of technical requirements for assigned projects Detail oriented  and organized with strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level internal clients Must be able to identify and manage priorities, multi-task and have the flexibility to work as a Team member or independently as needed Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - required Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed

Position Summary: Under the management of the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position is a multi-skilled position.  The primary job responsibility as is to perform routine cost accounting functions such as project analysis, reconciliation, posting, product acquisition, and reporting.  Prepare project-related financial analysis on data extracted from a variety of sources and report findings.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned as required to meet the corporation goals.

 

Analyzes and costs projects following company’s costing system Compares actual costs to estimates and analyzes variances Prepares monthly journal entries for recognition of revenue as needed Analyzes actual costs and prepares periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual costs, this includes product and project margin reporting and analytics. Collaborates with counterparts in other functional areas to ensure accurate forecasting and planning Effectively communicates with Managers and Principals-in-Charge (PIC), regarding quotes, contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing. Assesses and purses opportunities for maximization of client revenue; communicates with Supervisor as to your observations and actions taken. Sets up new projects Reviews weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group, and records direct projects-related labor and/or expenditures. Generates monthly profitability reports Analyzes project-related P&L accounts monthly, as assigned. Prepares balance sheet account reconcilements, as assigned Maintains project folders with all appropriate documents, including expenses, labor reports and monthly invoices Recommends and implements agreed process improvements Prepares special project analyses as required Creates, places and monitors project-related purchase orders; tracks for appropriate approvals, account numbers, and receipt of goods. Assists in the improvement of internal controls related to purchasing and inventory May have occasion to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements. Develops new supply sources as needed. Other duties as assigned

 

 Requirements

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures. Account balancing and reconciling skills along with research and resolution. Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting and methodology.

 

Technical skills involving inventory reconciliation, cost analysis and month-end close. Technical knowledge of IT related product a plus. Solid decision making skills and ability to exercise independent judgment. Prioritize and plan work activities independently and efficiently to meet deadlines; work on multiple tasks & projects simultaneously. Ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events. Ability to work in team environment with varied departments and diverse personalities. Detailed oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus a minimum of four years experience as a , or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Mas90 experience a plus.

 

Language Skills: 

Ability to read, analyze, develop & interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Write and speak in English Provide clear & concise written and verbal communication.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Accuracy in work.

 

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
