Compensation:  $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year

Our client is looking for Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for many day-to-day Accounts Payable duties. Included in this is inputting check requests and expense reports, running weekly check runs, and booking invoices related to non-operated wells. The accountant will also work closely with the Joint Interest Billing (JIB) group and assist with various journal entries related to operations of wells.Inputting Check Requests & Expense Reports.Preparing and executing weekly check runs.Utilizing Oildex for indexing and coding a high volume of vendor invoices.Reviewing and reconciling vendor statements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications, listening, and teamwork skills.Ability to efficiently organize a diverse, high volume workload. Ability to prioritize and communicate with management to ensure that the correct priorities are being set.Experience in Excalibur and Oildex are preferred but not required
