Government - Federal Education : 4 Year Degree Experience : At least 5 year(s) Travel : Negligible Post Date : 7/8/2012 Contact Information Ref ID : 4616 Description Our client, a FORTUNE 500 global insurance company is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead the organization's risk management and control functions to ensures all business risks are anticipated, recognized, and appropriately managed in various areas of the business including, insurance, financial products and services, investment portfolios, actuarial and international operations . Responsibilities will include: Review of business processes, IT applications, and financial practices enterprise-wide to ensure the use of compliant and best practices, procedural efficiency, and accuracy; Reporting of audit findings for business leaders/process owners and managing recommendations and remediation; Presenting results to senior management on larger-scale audit assignments and consultatively implementing changes to the extent possible. Audit reviews may be conducted in specialized areas requiring specific knowledge pertaining to policies or regulations governing areas being audited. RequirementsA Bachelor's degree and at least 5 yrs of relevant IT Audit experience are required with a solid understanding of IT general controls (security, change management, disaster backup recovery, data center, etc.); proficient understanding of system development lifecycle methodology, operating system and database platforms (mainframe, client/server, Web services, Windows, UNIT, AS400, DB2, etc.).
A CISA, CIA, CPA or FLMI designation are preferred.
Experience with DCA, DCMA, NIST or GAO Audits are beneficial and experence with TRICARE related systems are highly desired.
