The position plays a key role in the month-end close and revenue process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to creating journal entries, account reconciliations and taking the lead on various process improvement projects. This position will work closely with the Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure all revenue is accounted for appropriately.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely account reconciliations Prepare accurate and timely journal entries Assist in the review and analysis of contracts/orders/projects for revenue recognition and proper revenue accounting treatment. Reassure compliance with all applicable GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley or IFRS standards Continuously think outside the box, and identify areas of improvement, and develop time-saving solutions. Ensure data integrity in all business systems (systems maintained by self as well as others in the company) Assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong attention to detail Sharp , fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment Ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven Strong work initiative Strong problem solving skills Self-motivated Highly organized and experience in multi-tasking
