Compensation: $106,363.99 to $130,000.00 per year
A large organization in Honolulu is seeking a Tax Director. The Tax Director has responsibility for the development and coordination of the organization's entire tax compliance, including both domestic and international taxes and will ensure the assembling, maintaining, and analyzing of domestic and/or international tax information used in the preparation of municipal, state, and federal tax returns. In addition this role will represent the company in audits of tax returns by state and federal taxing authorities.
The Tax Director will also work with senior management and staff in areas of the organization affected by alterations in business practices to ensure understanding and implementation of new policies and procedures and will participate in the research and analysis of proposed and existing business transactions to determine the effect upon taxes.
He/she will also be responsible for the management of all employees including staffing, scheduling, compensation, performance management, training and development, succession planning and affirmative action to effectively utilize group and individual capabilities and enhance individual/group development and performance. Responsible for the timely and effective management of Human Resources forms and documents relevant to immediate staff.
