Currently seeking a qualified Medical Biller with Pain Management experience for growing private practice in Jacksonville, FL.

Responsible for authorizations, surgical postings, appeals, denials, and account receivables both insurance and personal accounts. Required to post payments to accounts, follow up with insurance representative on claims and if necessary have contact with adjusters and nurse case managers.

Candidate must have:

Billing and Coding certificate or 5 years experience in a billing department.
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 guideline.
Excellent personal organizational skills.
Knowledge of payer codes.
Basic bookkeeping and accounting terminology.
Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
Medical software experience is a plus.
