Description of Work:
Audit and document Commercial Ethernet network equipment located within the Multi-Services Operator’s hub and Headend distribution sites. Audit equipment rows, racks, shelves, cards, ports associated with fiber and copper commercial Ethernet customer circuits. Measure and document the shelf position (rack units) of equipment. Collect and document fiber termination panels, jumper cables, connector and polish types, CWDM equipment types and frequencies, media convertor devices, edge switches, routers, card types, port interfaces such as GBIC/SFP/XFP and frequencies using Excel spreadsheets.

Skill Set Requirements:
Must have working knowledge of fiber types and fiber connector styles and polish, CWDM equipment, routers, switches, media convertor devices, plug in devices such as SFP/GBIC/XFP, etc. Must be able to create and modify Excel documents. A good understanding of 10/100/1000 Ethernet circuits is desired.
