At this time our Tax Firm has a position opening for a Secretary/Assistant  

Off Season hours range from: 30-37.5/hrs

Tax Season hours: 40/hrs (Jan – April)

 

Primary Duties:

Data Entry Utilizes Microsoft applications Organize and maintain client data, tracking projects, schedule appointments, greeting clients, answering phones, and contacting clients Assistant to the owner Scanning and assembling of tax returns when needed Assists with multiple projects throughout firm and performs other office duties and functions as requested  Requirements

This position requires the candidate to have exceptional customer services skills as well as:

Experience working in a Public Tax Firm is required Experience with MS Office Products such as Word and Excel is a must Use and knowledge of multiple office equipment experience is essential Ability to operate in a fast paced environment during tax season and slow paced environment during the off season Communicate effectively with other Professionals, Clients and the Public Self-starter, can work independently on projects and executes tasks without being micromanaged Attention to detail and meeting deadlines are a must Must be able to handle multiple tasks and complex projects in a timely, confidential manner This position requires confidentiality, accuracy and time management skills A Professional Image is required Strong phone skills and customer services skills a must QuickBooks experience helpful but not required
