Construction Accounts Payable Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Haydon Building Corp, a leading General Contractor, has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator.  The successful candidate should have 5 years of background in construction and knowledge of lien waivers, subcontractor pay applications, and 20-day preliminary notices. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices (obtaining proper approval, entering invoices into accounting system, scanning/saving invoices in proper location, filing).
-Reconciles accounts payable invoices against vendor statements on a monthly basis.
-Works with vendors to obtain lien waivers in a timely fashion and to resolve discrepancies.
-Files preliminary notices and tracks preliminary notices received from vendors.
-File/Scan/Save waivers and preliminary notices.
 
 
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
-Knowledge of Arizona Prompt Payment Statute
-Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
-Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
-Must be able to type 40-45 wpm.

-Timberline experience a plus
