Commonwealth Trust Company, privately owned non-depository trust company, is looking for a for our Operations Department.  The candidate will assist in maintaining the accounting records of the trust for which Commonwealth Trust serves as trustee. 


Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Trust Operations Manager, key duties will include:

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end reports

Review of monthly, quarterly and year end reports

Preparation of tax returns

Supervision and training of staff

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as a team

Trust experience preferred

        

 Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA.


Experience

Candidate needs to possess 5 years financial accounting experience Experience in working under strict deadlines Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify issues and initiate action to solve them Knowledgeable in accounting for investments Some knowledge regarding trust structures Strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role as you will liaise with different teams across the business Must be a team player
