Job Description

PATIENT SERVICES MANAGER/OFFICE ASSISTANT

Physiotherapy Associates currently has a great opportunity for a Patient Services Manager/Office Assistant to join our Physical Therapy Clinic in ELDERSBURG, Maryland.

This position is FULL-TIME with BENEFITS. Rate of pay is $10.00-$15.00/hr depending on experience.

MUST HAVE MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE to include insurance verification and obtaining insurance authorizations.

As a Patient Services Manager you will:

Coordinate patient appointments and scheduling to ensure optimal clinician productivity and customer satisfaction
Support the business by providing exceptional customer service and cultivating relationships with referral providers
Obtain and enter accurate patient data, billing and insurance information in order to maintain current and accurate information in patient files and billing system
Answer and direct inquiries from patients, referral sources, payors and co-workers in order to provide timely and accurate responses
Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits to optimize reimbursement and customer satisfaction
