Senior Accountant

will work with associates and leaders from other departments in addition to the formal reporting structure through the Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining complex allocation structures between CHRISTUS Health and the affiliated entities for the centralized Information Management transactions. Education/Skills:
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration
CPA preferred
Proficient in Excel and Word
Knowledge of GAAP and other applicable regulatory rules, regulations and requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills


Experience:
5-10 years experience in Accounting/Finance
Experience required in a deadline-oriented, multi-task environment
Experience with Meditech General Ledger preferred but not required
Proven ability to interact with all levels of management and other Associates


Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
CPA preferred
