As a Financial Analyst within our Benefit Operations Finance group, you will be responsible for generating forecasts and analyzing trends in sales, SG&A, provider performance, product line profitability, membership, medical costs, premium yields, and other areas of business. You will research economic progressions to assist with the
organization's financial planning.
Additional responsibilities include by not limited to:
Understand the UnitedHealth Group financial process and become an active participant in the management of its financials
Analyze and report on financials and partner with senior leaders to collaboratively manage budgets
Assist with periodic forecast and budget creation for business leadership
Forecast staffing needs and partner with project managers, subject matter experts and leadership to develop workforce tools
Collaborate with segment finance to understand and demonstrate complex concepts in ways that lead to understanding by a variety of audiences
Conduct cost-benefit analysis, calculate cost impact, summarize and present to a larger audience
