This position will be located at French Lick Casino, French Lick Indiana

BASIC FUNCTION: The Title 31/Revenue Audit Supervisor monitors work performed by Revenue Audit personnel to ensure compliance within the guidelines of the Gaming Operation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. The Title 31/Revenue Audit Supervisor will also ensure compliance with reporting requirements for Title 31 of the Code of Federal Regulations for Casinos and the reporting requirements of the Indiana Gaming Commission for Currency Transaction Reporting and Multiple Transaction Logs as detailed in 68 IAC Rule 15-2-1 through 15-2-7. 

Responsibilities

Directs and supervises work performed by Revenue Audit Clerks and Title 31/Revenue Audit Clerk. Assist Casino Finance Manager with reporting all Casino statistics to the state via the Daily Tax Submission and the Monthly Statistical Report. Maintain documentation for slot and table game win numbers. Provide work schedules for all Revenue Audit clerks and Title 31/Revenue Audit Clerk. Assist and monitor daily audits of cage, slots, table games, soft count, tax submissions and other non-gaming areas. Ensures that W2-G’s are filed annually. Prepare daily Casino journal entries. Keep inventory levels on many casino documents. Timely retrieval, review, completion, and filing of all Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL), Currency Reporting Cards (CRC), SARCs and Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL) from the Casino on a daily basis.

10. Maintain an exception process that covers Title 31 and all relevant audits.

11. Prepare monthly reports based on daily exceptions for review by CTR Committee.

12. Prepare a detail listing of all guests with incomplete CTR filings and distribute to CTR Committee members.

13. Update the guest account as needed relative to address, SSN and identification information on filed CTRC’s.

14. Performs other related reasonable duties capable of being performed as requested by management.

15. Assist the Casino Finance Manager as directed.

 

Job Requirements 

Requirements

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

- High school diploma or its equivalency required; two or four year college degree preferred.

- Proficient in use of 10 key adding machines.

- One to two years previous experience in accounting or income auditing field required.

- Basic knowledge of casino and slot processing related computer operation preferred. Broad knowledge of the internal and accounting control procedures of casino operation preferred.

- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience as a supervisor in related field preferred.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

- Must possess excellent communication skills.

- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.

- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.

- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.



Candidates with casino/gaming finance experience will be given primary consideration.
