Job Summary

Project manages RFP responses and Coordinates the efforts of multiple departments to ensure a timely and complete response to customer requests for RFPs, pricing and renewals.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



 



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other minor duties may be assigned. 

Fields incoming requests through SharePoint, discerns the intent of those requests, routes incorrectly submitted requests to the appropriate areas Organizes scope meetings to discuss the requirements of each project and assigns the work to the appropriate teams. Manages a pipeline of 10-30 projects at a time. Coordinates project administration and makes decisions effecting project timelines and layout. Utilizes knowledge of the process to help set or reset client expectations and raises issues to appropriate levels to address timeline or deliverable issues Maintains pricing committee closeout files Participates in project review and approval meetings Assigns and coordinates the work of other departments that are working towards the same RFP response. Performs quality control checks on pricing responses prior to them being presented for approval. Serves as liaison between the Sales Leads and other internal departments to ensure deliverables are met. Monitors the RFP response process and works towards improvements. 
 

Job Requirements



Education and Experience

Required: Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.

Attention to detail

Experience with MS Office Suite and basic computer literacy

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work with and motivate a diverse group of internal customers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Maintain a high level of professionalism

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and consistently meet deadlines

Discerning approach to overcome obstacles independently while escalating issues appropriately
