Accounts Payable Director-Dynamic Leader
Job Description
This dynamic company is looking for an Accounts Payable Director. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for supervising a staff of 8 analysts. In addition, responsibilities include: Developing and reviewing a reporting package - aging report, un-invoiced receipts report etc. Closing on a weekly and at-month end the AP module - this includes balancing schedules. Direct supervision of all accounts payable, chargebacks, vendor and factor relationships across all companies/divisions. Centralize/integrate all merchandise payables at headquarters leveraging existing system and employee resources. Review and audit vendor invoices, employee expense reports and general ledger reports to ensure proper coding. Support product line reporting and support other financial reporting initiatives by division. Document processes and procedures for department and company. Employee development and training for staff. 1042 and 1099 processing and reporting. Administration of transit check program. Administration of consignment inventory process. Job Description
Elite software firm is seeking a dynamic financial reporting professional to join their team. This group is responsible for overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures filed in the firm's 8K, 10Q and 10K. The group is also responsible for other controllership activities as accounting for shareholder equity, stock-based compensation, ad hoc analyses and special projects. The primary responsibility of the candidate is to assist with these consolidations, footnotes, statements, commentaries; evaluation of FASB and SEC pronouncements and liaise with the various entities with the firm. Requirements include 3-7 years experience in public accounting (big 4 a plus), with significant exposure to SEC reporting, or similar experience within a large corporate enterprise and/or a CPA are both a plus, but not necessary. The Site Verbund Optimization Leader will drive cross unit collaboration to maximize the benefits to BASF by developing and implementing tools and processes to assess, optimize and implement the usage of site resources, (including intermediates and utilities) across the site. A key will be to balance people resources, fixed cost resources, raw material usages, energy usages and production.
