Dynamic, strong growth hard goods manufacturer has an immediate need for a .  This position is located in Bloomington, Indiana at a Division headquarters, reporting to the Plant Controller.  This position is part of the Division Strategic Plant Leadership Team.  You will direct the cost accounting functions, direct the plant financial reporting process, assist on the plant budget process, direct the new product cost accounting, direct the cost accounting financial forecasting process, Monthly Close, and ad hoc analysis reporting.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; manage the Cost Accounting System, cost management strategies, improve division cost accounting, capital spending management, process re-engineering, standard cost accounting system maintenance, new product costing & pricing; financial and variance analysis; financial reporting, and inventory control. You will improve profitability by Product-Line.  You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts. Manage and develop Fixed Asset Reporting and administration.  You will lead and coordinate the Plant Budget Forecasting Process from a Cost Accounting perspective. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives. Manage the annual physical inventory counts.
