The functions of the will include the accurate and timely preparation and review of financial statements.
Manage, develop and mentor a significant accounting team.
Participate/manage monthly close including reconciliations and adjusting entries
Prepare and/or review multiple bank reconciliations
Coordinate with outside auditors
Supervise preparation of sales, use and property taxes
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and present findings and recommendations to management
Skills :
Ability to prepare financial reports and present findings
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Some management experience and mentoring skills a plus
Ability to prepare and analyze financial transactions
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to act as a change agent in establishing new policies and procedures
Enthusiastic, optimistic and friendly attitude
A team player
Excellent computer skills, ERP systems experience a plus

RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Certification: CPA preferred
Experience:
5-8 years progressive accounting experience
Ideally both public accounting and private accounting experience. (Big 4 a plus)
