The will oversee and monitor adherence to the organization’s tax policies and objectives. Works to minimize tax obligations and ensure global compliance; monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes. Manages global tax processes/projects such as transfer pricing, IP management and legal entity restructuring. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Coordinate needed information between accounting, business finance, consolidation / reporting, and other areas of the Company on a worldwide basis to meet tax deadlines and requirements. 


Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

Perform and/or review tax due diligence with respect to acquisitions; project manage post-acquisition integration.


Preparation of technical memoranda.


Participate in tax planning initiatives to minimize global tax expense, maintaining sensitivity to any cash repatriation issues.


Review global tax estimates and projections.


Provide technical tax expertise with respect to FIN 48 tax accounting.


Monitor and oversee transfer pricing process including studies, intercompany business models, coordination of transfer pricing true-up calculations and journal entries.




Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, plus Masters in Taxation or CPA; JD and/or LLM, Tax strongly preferred.


Minimum 6 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, including a minimum of 3 years multi-national experience and 4 years’ management experience.


Experience with cross-border US tax concepts (transfer pricing, subpart-F, deemed dividends, foreign tax credits & foreign currency).


Experience with corporate M&A tax requirements and post-transactional reorganization/ integration.


Proficiency in technical aspects of federal corporate income taxation.


Working knowledge of FAS 109 and FIN 48 tax accounting principles applied on global basis.


Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification.
