We are looking for outgoing, friendly, customer-service oriented candidates to join our Front Desk Team!  Ideal candidates are experienced hospitality professionals with at 6 months of Front Desk experience.  (We are willing to train candidates with fantastic customer service skills!)


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enthusiastically greet guests upon arrival, making them feel welcomed and comfortable. Register and assign rooms to guests, issues keys, and provide escort instructions. Make reservations and keep record of room availability and rates. Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently. Process all payments according to hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to guests and visitors. Answer phones, take messages, direct calls, etc. Address guests’ questions or concerns. Compute bills and collect payments. Proactively address issues and provide stellar customer service. Accurately post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to guest bill. Handle guest services like wake-up calls, reservations, safe deposit boxes, etc.


Night Auditor Responsibilities: 

All Front Desk responsibilities plus:

Responsible for auditing of all charges and postings, correcting work as required. Reconciles daily activity and closes all accounts in preparation for the new day. All information will be processed and formatted into daily reports and distributed as the Morning Reports. Acts as Manager On Duty Good work ethic and attention to detail. Must be able to multitask. Management experience preferred.



 Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

High school education and relevant training/experience.  Additional education a plus. 6 months of Front Desk experience preferred.  (Will train right candidates.) Must have stellar customer service skills with follow up and attention to details. Reliable, friendly, positive attitude, and able to make guests feel welcomed and cared for. Professional demeanor, behavior, and dress to work with the public. Solid English communication skills to effectively work with guests, staff, and vendors.   Multilingual a plus! Good mathematical and computer skills including ability to use hotel software. Able to stand for extended periods with ability to lift/pull up to 20 pounds.  Able to maintain a calm demeanor (i.e. challenging customers, emergency situations, etc.). Ability to multi-task, and have an eye for detail Have the ability to communicate effectively with guests/team members verbally or in written form. Have a professional and clean appearance, with a willingness to succeed. Have the ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking all day.

 

Night Auditor Requirements:

 

Front Desk requirements plus:

Prefer at least 1 year of hotel front office and/or reservations experience - preferably as a Night Auditor.  Accounting experience a plus. This position requires basic knowledge of accounting operations, mathematical skills, and computing skills. Must possess good communications skills in terms of working with both internal and external guest.
