Currently, there are thirty employees that work for this multi-million, state and international organization.

Job Duties:
- Responsible for the day to day operation of the finance department including A/R, A/P, journal entries, bank reconciliations and payroll.
- Work with management team to track status of projects.
- Responsible for all accounting functions for 3 related entities in multi-currencies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and system enhancements.
- Work closely with operations to assist in maximizing profitability and streamlining operations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for management.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flows.
- Work with management to manage budgets of company projects.
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
- Ensure that required dept payments are made on a timely basis.
- Work with outside accountants on annual audit.



 Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent business experience and 7-15 years of progressive experience.
- Has acted in the capacity of company Financial Controller.
- Strong preference for Venture or private equity backed startup and growth business experience.
- Knowledge of Intacct and Sage/Pac desired.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Strong understanding  of revenue recognition and percentage completion.
- Self starter.
- Ability to work independently.
- Entrepreneurial.
- Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with IFRS is a plus.
