Purchasing - Procurement Education :  High School Experience :  2 to greater than 15 years Post Date :  6/7/2012 Contact Information Contact : Geoffrey Haas Ref ID : Admin Support-VASD Fax : 865-675-9395  Description Local Federal agency with facilities located at Fort Meade and Hot Springs, SD is in need of temporary administrative support to assist the contracting offices with tasks including: scanning and uploading documents/files; photocopying; faxing; proofreading; data entry; project preparation; basic research; supply ordering; boxing/storing closed records; creating spreadsheets; and scheduling.

This is a contract position.  Employment will be with Concord Professional in support of Federal agency requirement.  Contractor will work on-site at agency location, under technical guidance of Federal agency supervisory staff.

Duration of Contract:

ASAP - 9/30/12 - possibility of continued support through 6/30/12. (1440 total hours)

Hours of Support and Availability Requirements:

M-F - 7am - 4:30pm (40 hours/week)

Background Check:

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS STANDARD FEDERAL BACKGROUND (NACI) INVESTIGATION.  This will include criminal and credit evalutions.

 RequirementsMINIMUM -  working knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based applications, Microsoft Word document preparation, file uploading and document scanning skills.  Applicants with experience using contract management software programs will be rated higher than those without experience.


MINIMUM - two years experience in an administrative assistant/secretarial/clerk support role.

Strong preference for candidates with healthcare/VA Medical administrative experience.

Strong preference for college degree/college education.

Strong preference for previous federal contracting experience.
