Senior SEC Reporting Analyst - This position is responsible for all aspects of SEC Reporting within our Finance and Administration organization reporting to our SEC Reporting Manager. This individual will be highly motivated and show an immediate comfort interacting with all levels of management, executives, outside committees/auditors and attorneys.

Make an impact while performing the following:

Support the preparation and review of external reporting documents including 10-Q, 10-K, and Annual Proxy Statement including drafting and change control management to final filing Coordinate with multiple resources to receive necessary disclosure support  and review all footnotes prepared by others Prepare supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes and MD/A including disclosure checklist Coordinate with the company's external auditors Assist in assessing and controlling compliance risk Manage and maintain documentation for SOX Recommend improvements to processes used to compile and analyze data for SEC reporting purposes Prepare accounting entries for equity compensation, business combinations, discontinued operations and other complex accounting transactions as necessary Assist with reviewing income tax provision and tax planning projects as assigned Assist with research and documentation of the company's position regarding complex accounting issues, including communicating conclusions and interpretations to management Assist with determining the implications of new accounting standards on the company and assist with associated implementation projects Participate in and lead certain aspects of transition from U.S. GAAP to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); ensuring complete and timely adoption of requirements Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA or CPA track 2 - 5 years experience in Big 4 public accounting  Previous experience with SEC filings for a public company, preferred In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, additional knowledge/familiarity with IFRS a plus Previous experience with software revenue recognition, multiple element enterprise transactions and/or other areas of complex contractual transactions a plus Ability to work well in a fast pace environment and prioritize and multi-task while exhibiting good judgment and poise Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem solving skills Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
