The Process Engineer is responsible for delivering a range of multi-disciplinary projects using continuous process improvement, process reengineering in the areas of process, policy, and product changes. The Process Engineer works independently and in a team to execute operational plans in support of the projects' strategic goals, and interfaces with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus. Specific areas of focus may include but are not limited to, customer centricity, business analysis, root cause analysis, process maintenance, process audits, process improvement, continuous improvement, and project management across multiple disciplines.

The Process Engineer establishes strong client relationships with both the business and technology teams, has working knowledge of the organization, business products and services, and technology solutions, and acts as an advisor between the lines of business and technology groups. Additionally, the Process Engineer works closely with the business to understand and document processes and practices, establish measurement plans for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify and quantify process improvement opportunities, implement change and build and execute control plans. The Process Engineer will work with multiple business areas to understand their collective issues and concerns so they can jointly improve on departmental KPIs. The Process Engineer is expected to be a self-directed results focused worker that identifies process improvement opportunities, executes against those opportunities and successfully realizes quantifiable benefits.

Knowledge of eBay, PayPal products, systems and operations

Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

Strong project management skills (project planning, estimation, work-task break down, issue management, risk management) and attention to detail

Software skills (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

Analytical thinking and ability to define and utilize quantitative and qualitative management information or transactional reports to identify key trends

Knowledge of Ecommerce, Financial, Collections, Customer Service, or Payment Processing Industries

At least 4 years professional work experience with successful business process improvement and project experience; working knowledge in a broad set of modeling methodologies, modeling tools and techniques, including modeling business processes, roles, and organizations.

Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Experience in financial services, corporate, or investment banking industry preferred.

Knowledge of end-to-end processes across sales, origination, fulfillment, servicing and support and related systems/tools preferred.
