Job Description
Experis Finance is looking for a to support budgeting, planning, reporting and financial analysis. Title: Location: Fremont, CA Duration: 6-12 Months with conversion to full time
Responsibilities: Overseas all aspects of the general accounting function (incl. month end close, fixed assets management, SOX, taxes, payroll, etc.) Manage the month end close process including review of reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and reporting to ensure they are completed accurately by due dates Manage the SOX 404 documentation and testing and liaise with auditors during audits (both internal and external) Continue to develop integrated procedures and policies for both legal entities to continually streamline processes and eliminate non value add activities Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial statements, quarterly and year-end packages in accordance with GAAP. Generate internal reporting packages with in-depth analysis of spending, project spending and headcount. Establish and communicate goals for team Evaluate and assess the development/skill needs of staff on a continuous basis to ensure appropriate competencies exist to meet job/project requirement Mentor and develop Financial Analysts through routine performance, coaching and development sessions. Interfaces with corporate and maintains professional relationship Works closely with the Director to ensure that all financial matters of the Company are being properly handled. Performs responsibilities required by the Quality System and other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-8 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills essential. Excel and SAP knowledge is required. Experience in Hyperion is desirable.
