Senior Accountant - Real Estate Investment Trust
•Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closing packages and related supporting schedules.
•Prepare initial draft of basic financial statements, including the statement of cash flows. Coordinate report disclosures with financial reporting team.
•Prepare detailed variance and fluctuation analyses in connection with closing packages
•Review, analyze, and book journal entries for complex transactions and activities, including but not limited to acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, build to suit transactions, etc.
• Prepare and analyze foreign currency movements, as well as review and analyze complex foreign currency transactions.
•Analyze intercompany and related-party transactions and perform supporting reconciliations.
•Prepare and document support for accrual journal entries.
•Coordinate with third-party domestic and foreign financial statement providers and review provided financial statements. Book relevant adjusting entries.
•Assist in preparing supporting schedules for auditors and responding to audit inquiries.
