Our client in the media industry located in central Pennsylvania seeks a CFO to join their team. The successful CFO will be a key member of the Executive Management team and will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assume responsibility for all financial and fiscal management of company operations. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the successful CFO include:
Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-range strategic financial objectives.
Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts, accompanied by planning and action recommendations
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal financial and related reporting requirements.
Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents.
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization and its related companies.
Work closely with the senior leadership team to identify their needs and to seek a full spectrum of business solutions..
Ensure record systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting and auditing standards.
Serve as the external financial voice of the organization with customers, investors, banking and financial institutions.

The successful experienced Chief Financial Officer will:
Monitor medical costs and utilization trends.
Monitor and control accounts receivables. Closely oversees Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is properly stated.  Improve the profitability of the organization.  Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues. Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis Provide reconciliations, account analysis, and other information for Reimbursement Department, Tax Department, Auditors, etc., to aid in preparation of reports. Prepare annual budget in conjunction with UHS standards. In cooperation with management and department heads, reviews prior financial results and discusses anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends of the organization. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a managed care or healthcare setting, behavioral health strongly preferred. Minimum education requirement of a Bachelors degree, masters degree preferred Must possess ample experience or exposure to all aspects of behavioral or health management which may include hospital or provider finances. Experience within a managed care organization with an emphasis in monitoring medical costs and utilization trends. Proven record of success improving the profitability of an organization by continually monitoring costs in all areas. Experience keeping multiple general ledgers for multiple sites or entities.  

Requirements for this position include:
