Certified Public Accountant
Responsibilities:
Provide financial information to the organization by maintaining and reconciling accounts. Have the ability to interface directly with internal personnel and an outside auditing organization.
Functions:
1- Provides financial information by answering accounting procedure questions; researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations; determining current charging of labor and materials.
2- Prepare and review city and state tax documents
3- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for headquarters.
4- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and participating in professional organizations.
5- Work with members of the Administration Department to improve their accounting skills.
6- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley required and JSOX preferred.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
2- CPA designation required.
3- Two (2) to Five (5) years work related experience in Accounting.
4- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
5- Must have SAP experience.
6- Proven effective oral and written communications, organizational and problem solving skills.
7- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
8- Must be able to pass a background check, physical examination, and drug test.
9- Ability to schedule multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
