Responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager Pricing in reviewing data and completing assigned analysis to determine appropriate fee schedule for new and existing clients. This responsibility includes assisting the Sr. Manager Pricing by compiling data and performing analysis relating to pricing for providers, specialty areas or the network. Position will also assist in repricing claims for any products offered and any fee adjustment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•         Coordinate and compile all necessary information and data to complete assigned analyses

•         Perform research on a specialty or providers

•         Perform analysis regarding existing providers and potential clients in regard to pricing as assigned

•         Input and prepare pricing data regarding specific geographies and/or specialties for management review

•         Analyze fee schedule data provided by potential clients to provide savings percentages

•         Compile and organize data required for client setup and maintenance with REM application

•         Assist in adhoc analysis and reporting regarding margin and profit review, client savings analysis, provider contract interpretation, or other requests related to pricing

•         Prepare presentation of analysis and results as requested

 RequirementsPosition Requirements:

•         Must have healthcare experience

•         Must have strong analytical skills

•         Must have knowledge of CPT, ICD-9CM, HCPCS, and medical terminology

•         Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills

•         Must have advanced knowledge of Excel

•         Experience with Access is preferred but not required

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities:

•          Bachelors degree with 2 years healthcare experience

•          Minimum 2 years relevant experience required as noted above

•          General knowledge of medical terminology

•          Must be able to compile and analyze data
