Our bank is looking for a VP Special Assets.
The Vice President of Special Assets provides commercial loan workout services for the bank. This expert will reduce the bank’s exposure to loss in commercial loan workouts and will develop and implement a plan of action to protect and improve the bank’s position in the credits through negotiating satisfactory repayment schedules, obtaining additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate. Also reviews existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, and evaluates client’s financial strength and capacity to repay outstanding debt.
Job Responsibilities:
Devise and implement repayment plans for problem commercial loans. Prepare periodic reports to management and the Board of Directors. Review existing loan documentation for errors and omissions. Negotiates satisfactory repayment schedules. Obtains additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate. Ongoing monitoring of existing loans for conformity to terms and conditions. Actively participates with and assists senior lending officers on larger, more complex credits. Monitors market conditions, observing competitor impact and makes recommendations to maintain competitive and profitable product line. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products including loans, cash management, trade service products and deposits to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience. The University of Maryland, College Park seeks a supervisor to work with a crew that provides support for campus special events and office/laboratory moves. Special events duties include stage construction; delivery; set up; and breakdown of tables, chairs, podiums, decorations; and other items used at more than 500 special events per year. Hours are Mon - Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM but this position requires the ability to work overtime on evenings and weekends to accommodate the campus events schedule. Position is Essential and subject to a 24/7 span of operation.
QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent, 7 years' experience with at least 4 years in a lead or supervisory capacity, and a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points. A forklift operator's license or ability to obtain licensure is a condition for passing probation. BENEFITS: Salary range starts at $40,137. We offer an excellent benefits package including health insurance; tuition remission for employee and family; paid sick leave, vacation, holiday, and personal leave; and State retirement plans.
