Family Home Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a VP of 

Finance within our Sarasota (Lakewood Ranch) Headquarters.

Family Home Health Services (FHHS) provides health care services to patients in their homes 

assisting them to achieve the highest level of potential in their day-to-day self-care activities. FHHS was founded in 2003 and in 2010, Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago-based 

Private Equity firm, acquired FHHS to further drive the growth of the company.  Currently, FHHS has 12 locations in Florida with further expansion planned in 2012.

The VP of Finance reports directly to the President  and will be 

responsible for the overall financial management, all accounting 

controls, cash management, and the planning/budgeting functions and will be a key contributor for the 

company's strategic direction and process improvement.




Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A minimum of seven years of corporate finance experience with at least four years as a controller of head of finance. At least five years of experience   working within Medicare in the home healthcare services or related industry sector.  Prior experience working directly or indirectly with a private equity  organization is considered a plus. Strong cost accounting skills;  Ability to provide accurate cost / profit  information. Exposure to and understanding of integrated financial, reporting, and IT systems as well as significant experience operating Excel. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, challenge, nurture, and manage people. Willing to be "hands-on" where and when appropriate. Involvement with mergers and acquisitions.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance. CPA or CMA is strongly preferred.

The functions as a key member of the Senior Leadership team and the scope of responsibilities includes all entities within Mahoney Environmental.  This individual is a key participant in the vision and leadership of the company and directs all phases of the company’s Treasury, Controllership, IT and Financial Analysis functions.

 

General Description of Job:

 

Provide the President of the company with useful, timely reporting of the financial condition of, and significant trends in the company along with insight, observations for improvements and alternatives.

 

Provide financial reporting and analysis to the Board of Advisors and Owners. Participate effectively as a member of the Senior Leadership team and provide insight into the numbers through timely and effectively communications.

 

Participate effectively in a tam environment, leading when required and contributing wherever appropriate both with peers and other groups within the company.

 

Communication of company goals, leadership and motivation to the financial team of direct reports

 

Provide leadership and direction to the IT function including representing the IT resource to the senior leadership team and the President.  Insure that the substantial investment in IT resources support the operations and sales functions of the company by providing a competitive advantage in serving customers.

 

The VP Finance has primary responsibility for financial analytical support and internal controls throughout the company.

 

The position includes normal Treasury functions including development and maintenance of banking relationships, all risk management including insurance coverage, negotiations and relationships.  In addition financial justification of major capital projects are developed and approved by this position.

 

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Business Planning, budgeting and forecasting, including participation in the annual planning process from strategic planning, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. Financial Reporting, internal to all levels of internal management, external to the Boards of Directors, Board of Advisors, Bankers, and other interested parties. Treasury Functions, including Finance Plan, development and execution of the annual plan which balances overall leverage as established by the Board of Directors while managing cash flow with respect to capital requirements, working capital requirements, and distributions to owners (both tax distributions and other distributions). Banking, including management of existing credit facilities, development of new alternatives and attainment of goals as set forth in the Finance Plan Insurance, including assessment of all coverage, identification of gaps,

Development of competitive bids, management of all claims

Investments, including oversight of benefit plans Cash management between all entities weekly Oversight and leadership of IT including direction of the IT personnel, coordinating IT projects consistent with the company’s strategic direction, and insuring the IT infrastructure adequately supports the entire organization.. Internal control, insuring effective procedures are developed, implemented and reviewed regularly for the safeguarding of assets and data integrity. Analytical Support, including coordination with key mangers to identify trends, develop alternatives and understand the nature of the many challenges faced in the business Organizational Leadership including best practices and an environment of continuous improvement. Accounting functions Credit and collection functions Cost Accounting functions Miscellaneous Audit Tax Reporting other than income tax Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements Research and stay abreast of the latest regulatory and financial accounting reporting trends. Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Thorough understanding of accounting concepts / GAAP Participation in a collaborative style of problem solving including data gathering, consensus building and formation of recommendations CPA Highly Desirable; MBA Preferred

Our bank is looking for a VP Special Assets.

The Vice President of Special Assets provides commercial loan workout services for the bank.  This expert will reduce the bank’s exposure to loss in commercial loan workouts and will develop and implement a plan of action to protect and improve the bank’s position in the credits through negotiating satisfactory repayment schedules, obtaining additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate.  Also reviews existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, and evaluates client’s financial strength and capacity to repay outstanding debt. 

Job Responsibilities:

Devise and implement repayment plans for problem commercial loans. Prepare periodic reports to management and the Board of Directors. Review existing loan documentation for errors and omissions. Negotiates satisfactory repayment schedules. Obtains additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate. Ongoing monitoring of existing loans for conformity to terms and conditions. Actively participates with and assists senior lending officers on larger, more complex credits. Monitors market conditions, observing competitor impact and makes recommendations to maintain competitive and profitable product line. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products including loans, cash management, trade service products and deposits to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.
