The assists in directing the financial functions of a college or learning site. Delivers results consistent with approved operating plan while ensuring Company goals and objectives are met in compliance with state, federal and corporate regulations and policies. Assists students with applying for financial aid.

Responsibilities
Assists in motivating and managing staff to achieve timely student finance packaging, account reconciliations and student account history maintenance. Insures effective use of all available sources of financial aid.Manages accounts receivables activities. Recommends termination for non cooperation or delinquent accounts.Supports the timely processing of all student, agency and Title IV refunds.Assists in managing college funds control including local banking relations and petty cash.Provides input to supervisor on performance reviews and helps to identify development needs. May screen, interview and make recommendations for hiring potential employees.Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, ethical practices, and the guidelines of government and accrediting organizations. Ensures customer satisfactions by understanding student needs, analyzing customer feedback and implementing appropriate improvement initiatives.Conducts financial aid information sessions and assists students with completion of applications. Ensures that required documentation is obtained. Informs students and their families on available funding.May perform the duties of the Director of Finance in his/her absence.

Requirements A bachelor's degree in finance or related field from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.At least two years experience in finance, preferably in student financial aid. Supervisory experience preferred.Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations. Able to interact with all levels of management, employees and students. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as planning, organizing and delegation skills.Efficiently utilize a personal computer and related software including Microsoft Office, student finance software, and internet proficiencies.Proven educational or administrative experience in solving complex problems for individuals or teams. Experience with analyzing and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of options and exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills.Demonstrates and applies mathematical concepts to problem solving; compbines, evaluates, and reasons using quantifiable information to make decisions and solve problems.Proven track record of project completions.Proven record of multi-tasking and ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures.Interacts in a cooperative and professional manner with others. Past history of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

ITT Technical Institute issues, on an annual basis, a Safety and Security Policies and Crime Statistics Report. The Report discloses information about our College's safety and security policies and procedures, and statistics concerning the number of particular crimes reported to each College and local law enforcement agencies as occurring on each College's premises or public property adjacent to the School. The Report serves to inform each College's students, prospective students, employees and prospective employees of the existence and enforcement of the College's safety and security policies.
