ERS Technician I (Light Service Drivers)


The ERS Technician I will perform jump-starts, tire changes, lockout services, fuel delivery and light mechanical services on disabled vehicles. The position will also perform basic administrative functions on a daily basis including: balancing petty cash fund; keeping accurate records of service runs; furnishes management petty cash and service call records. Requirements include: High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, valid operator's license with good driving record and able to obtain chauffeur's license within 60 days of hire, mechanical aptitude, excellent knowledge of streets in Indianapolis, excellent people skills, basic math skills, ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.



ERS Technician III (Tow Truck Drivers)

The ERS Technician I will perform jump-starts, tire changes, extrication and/or winching, towing service, lockout services, fuel delivery and light mechanical services on disabled vehicles. The position will also perform basic administrative functions on a daily basis including: balancing petty cash fund; keeping accurate records of service runs; furnishes management petty cash and service call records. Requirements include: High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, valid chauffeur's license with good driving record and able to obtain chauffer's license within 60 days of hire, mechanical aptitude, excellent knowledge of streets in Indianapolis, excellent people skills, basic math skills, ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
