OBJECTIVES OF POSITION Responsible for maintaining an active pipeline, and required to perform all closing, funding, disbursement, post closing, insuring, and loan delivery functions with accuracy. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Primary responsibility is to perform all closing, funding, disbursement, post closing, insuring, and loan delivery functions; after verifying that all required conditions have been signed off and no exceptions are outstanding in the loan file. The Closing Specialist is required to close 60 loans per month with a minimum daily productivity of 3 fundings per day Monitor and maintain compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures set-forth by federal, state, local, and GT corporate regulations Responsible for closing loan files with no exceptions, and maintain integrity of the files through proper diligence and execution of legal requirements. Communicate with Borrowers, Closing agents, Attorneys, Notaries, and any other third party vendors along with Operations in a consistent professional manner. Authorize the funding of Retail loans upon verification and review of all Closing documents; complete Doc Prep/Loan Closing checklist, which results in a thorough review of Closing documents for proper execution and compliance, HUD-1 settlement statements in balance to wired amount, the signing off of funding conditions and data integrity of all loan files Verification of all documents and performing necessary calculations as form of review to complete an accurate and timely funding of Retail mortgage loans. Ability to solve loan disbursement issues between Closing/Settlement Agents and Borrowers, timely, accurately, and professionally. Other duties as assigned. SELECTION CRITERIA

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in loan closing/funding or comparable experience. Current knowledge of multi-state residential mortgage lending regulations and requirements. Current experience with Agency and HUD closings. Current experience with warehouse lending and investor settlements. Ability to handle multiple tasks and large volume and meet daily goals and deadlines. Strong organization skills; and strong verbal and written communication skills required. Computer literacy.
