Part Time
20-30 hours per week. This is a Try-Before-Hire position, $10 -$12 per hour depending upon experience. The hours are somewhat flexible but 4-5 hours on Mondays and Tuesdays bi-weekly is required to process payroll.
Job Summary:
Duties include performing a variety of complex clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Performs accounts payable, accounts receivable. Preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records within company procedures.
Job Duties:
1. Payroll
A. Compiles bi-weekly payroll information and input into system as appropriate. Refer unusual issues to supervisor.
1. Updates employee master information.
2. Creates employees’ paychecks by entering validated information from timesheets.
3. Prepares paychecks for distribution.
B. Insures compliance with all policies and procedures regarding payroll.
C. Prepares payroll reports and pays payroll taxes, 401(K) and garnishments.
D. New Hire reporting to State of WI
E. Provide employment PIR reports as needed.
F. Prepares year end w-2’s.
2. Accounts Payable
1. Inputs A/P and verify accuracy after input.
2. Files paid invoices.
3. Cuts checks and gets CEO/President’s signature.
4. Reconcile credit card bill.
5. W-9
3. Donor Perfect
A. Assist marketing coordinator with donor perfect database management including:
1. Updating records
2. Processing gifts and generating thank you letters.
B. Assist with other marketing tasks such as:
1. Delivery of marketing materials.
2. Referral source list management
3. Assist with the organization’s events as needed.
4. Miscellaneous Functions
A. Backs up receptionist in answering phones.
B. Back up Billing Clerk as needed.
C. Participate in month – end closing process.
D. Helps with Flu Program and collections.
E. Complete Meals On Wheels (MOW) monthly county report.
F. Deliver MOW when needed.
G. Helps prepare year end information- 1099’s and W-2’s.
H. Assists in tracking and reconcile resident fund. Send out monthly letters for low funds and 6 month reminder letter.
I. Complete apartment and assisted living occupancy reports.
J. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
A. Two year accounting degree or equivalent experience.
B. Experience in computerized billing and accounting systems.
C. Ability to operate computer equipment.
D. General office experience.
E. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
F. High degree of accuracy.
G. Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and co-workers.
H. Must be able to read, write and follow written instructions.
