Current Need


The Senior is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounting information and to apply principles of accounting in compliance with state and federal regulations. The Senior oversees all key accounting activities including :

G/L Account Reconciliations

Monthly Journal Entry Processing & Approval

Internal Controls and Sox Compliance

SAP System Support for month end close

Financial Statement Review

Intercompany Accounting

Facilities Accounting

Fixed Asset Accounting

Document management and compliance

D&T/Internal Audit Support

Interface with Headquarters Accounting on BU Support Issues

Special projects/Financial Analysis as needed

The Senior will ensure that relevant financial information is accurately reflected in the financial statements and communicated effectively with management. The position will also conduct research and have frequent interaction with the technical accounting team on accounting issues.

Position Description


Responsibilities include developing, implementing and/or maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Maintains receipts and disbursement reports. May prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns. May interpret reports and records for managers.
