Detailed Description

Provide expertise in development and filing of financial disclosure required by the Securities and Exchange Commission for Enterprise and its subsidiaries. Key contributor and liaison with the Legal Dept., Sr. Management and independent auditors in determining appropriate disclosure. Research and interpret accounting and financial disclosure regulations to determine appropriate financial disclosure to ensure Enterprises' compliance with SEC regulations. Discuss and coordinate information requested from all company units pertaining to the state of Enterprise's subsidiary businesses to determine necessary inclusion in SEC disclosure. Prepare and review financial statements, notes to financials and management's discussion and analysis. Prepare various position papers related to proposed accounting guidance and impact on PSEG and its subsidiaries. Respond to FASB and other accounting bodies through comment letters for the company and in concert with industry organizations (EEI/AGA and D&T). Set Accounting policy for new accounting standards and new transactions.
